Data Handling, Cookies and Account Security

Security at q7f is applied at every layer — from the moment your data enters our system to how long we keep it after your account is closed.

Cookie Use

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and preference cookies to remember your language and currency display. Analytics cookies measure page load performance only — we do not use advertising cookies that track you across other websites.

Account Security

Your account password is stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — we cannot read it, only verify it. We also flag unusual login locations automatically and can lock your account within seconds if our system detects a suspicious session.

Payment Data Handling

UPI transaction references, Paytm order IDs and PhonePe payment tokens are stored in encrypted form. We never store your full bank account number. Payment data is retained for the period required by Indian financial regulations and then securely deleted.

Data Retention Period

Active account data is kept for the lifetime of your account plus the legally required period under applicable Indian law. After you close your account and the retention window passes, your personal data is permanently deleted from our live systems.

Your Right to Access and Correct

You may request a full export of the personal data we hold for your account at any time. If any detail is inaccurate — such as a phone number or address — you can ask us to correct it and we will do so within seven working days.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We share your data with payment processors like Paytm and PhonePe only to complete your transactions, and with fraud-detection partners only as needed to keep your account safe. No data is sold or shared for marketing purposes.
